It's "mah-RYAH-nah", according to the BtN info on the name, and it is a Spanish/Italian name. I think by English speakers it would most likely be (mis)pronounced "mah-ree-AH-nah".

Or mispronounced by English speakers as Mary + Anna. That's how I'd pronounce it in English.
