Sirpa:
Sirpa derives from the word "sirpale" (small piece, sherd). Probably the first person in Finland to use it was the actress Sirpa Tolonen (born in 1900) whose real name was Siiri (Finnish variant of Sigrid, Old Norse name meaning "victory" + "beauty"). So Sirpa is used as a pet form for Siiri, too.
Sirkka:
Sirkka derives from the word "sirkku" (bunting, yellowhammer [bird]). As a first name it derives from the fairy tale "Prinsessa Lumisirkku ja kääpiöt" (Snow-white), which was the original title in Finland. Later the name changed from Lumisirkku to Lumikki.
Outi:
Outi derives from a Lappish Finnish word "outa" meaning "forest".

Sirkka appears also in heinäsirkka which means grasshopper (heinä=hay)
It seems this board accepts English alphabet only!!!!
