For girls I would say Maria if you count all it's forms(Marie, Mary, etc.).

I don't know about boys.

I agree with Maria. For a boy, I would go with Lucas. I think I read on a website once that Lucas was a truly international name used and recognized in many cultures.

Well, in Muslim countries, Muhammed is a very common name.
