There is a name Aline (pron. "Aleen")which is related to Adeline/Adele (which mean 'noble'). It dates back to medieval times. Otherwise, my first thought when I saw Alynne was that maybe it was a feminisation of Alan, or a twist on Lynne, or possibly both, as if your parents had wanted to honour an Alan and a Lynne. I've never come across Alynne before and my guess is that it's a modern creation, perhaps especially for you. But I could be wrong. Good luck on your quest! :-)
