Laitha, Laitu, Lethu, Ledi, Leda, Ladicke, Ledhe and Lete
While looking for the meaning of the Finnish surname Laitinen, I found out that it derives from the given names
Laitha, Laitu, Lethu, Ledi, Leda (Old High German)
and
Ladicke (Low German)
and
Ledhe, Lete (Old Swedish)
I couldn't find any of these names in my books.
The information about Laitinen I found here:
http://www.suku.fi/nimet/nimi42s.htm
And Kevlar from the surname board found them in the book "Sukunimet"
Does anyone of you know any of the names?
/ Satu
