I have come across this name a few times on wikipedia, and it intrigued me. I searched for it here and found it on Mrs Claire's list of Ladino names, but I am still puzzled. I assume that it does mean "rich," but is it just an elaboration? I do not know very much about Ladino names - where is Richenza from? The noblewomen named Richenza on wikipedia seem to be Germanic.
