How do you pronounce it? Does it mean "sunny Isle" as well as being the name for Buttercup?

Its the icelandic Name for Ranunculus.
Its pronounced So-ley.

Thanks, I am aware of the genus name but when you say So-ley do you mean "so" as in the word so and "ley" as in lay? It's not altogether clear. I'm itching to know.
