My great, great Uncle had the christian names Obadiah Boar. We cannot find any information on the name BOAR on any of the usual name sites, so can anyone out there please help us?
He was born in Lewes, East Sussex, England in 1868. All of his traced relatives..Mother, Father, Grandparents, Great Grandparents etc; all came from the same general area of East Sussex right back to the early 1700's.
No-one else in the family line had any extraordinary names, just him!
