This site's pronunciation guide says that the vowel sound AW is the one found in the words CON and BOUGHT.
In my speech the words ON, LAWN, and JOHN rhyme, and COT and CAUGHT are homophones. I believe this is true for most North Americans. Adding British pronunciations would be a difficult undertaking for me. I would like to do it eventually, but don't look for them anytime soon.
