Ciriolie?
I have a friend who had a cat called Ciriolie (see-ree-OH-lee). The former owners named the cat and said it was a Gypsy name. Does anyone know what it may mean? It's not to find anywhere on the net, the closest I find is Siriol (see a post further down), which is Welsh.

The closest I can come up with is:
Ciriello: A diminutive of Cirio, a derivation of the Greek kyrios.
Cirilio: Italian or Greek meaning Lordly.
It could possibly be a gypsy derivitive of one of those names. Otherwise, I wasn't able to come up with anything else.
