I've read that in Scandinavian mythology there was once a hero named Harlenkoenig. "Koenig" means "king", I assume, but what does Harlen mean? TIA.

Closest verbal match that I can find is the Swedish word "härlig" which means 'glorious' and 'splendid'. (I'm using FreeDict.com BTW.)
