Dear friends, does anybody have serious knowledge about the origin of the name ARAS? This is a river passing from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia. As to my knowledge; Azeris name it as Araz though Armenians name as Arex(?). Wud be great if any of you may provide some info about the etymology (and possible meanings) of this name.
