Message: "Einon?" - Behind the Name

That was the name of the evil king Einon, in the movie "Dragonheart", I watched last night.

It looks and sounds interesting. I suppose that it's Scottish. since I think the movie takes place in middleage Scotland.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?
