Almalfea, Amalfea?

Does anyone know the origin and meaning of the girl's name Almalfea/Amalfea? Not quite sure how it's suppose to be spelled.

Gender: Feminine Usage: Greek Mythology (Latinized)

From the Greek Áìáëèåéá (Amaltheia), derived from ìáëèáóóù (malthasso) meaning "to soften, to soothe". In Greek myth she was a goat who nursed the infant Zeus.

AmalfeaIt seems to be a rare Russian variant of Amalthea.
