Does anyone know if the name Hecate can be or has been prn. as heh-KAH-tay/heh-KAH-tee?
On the database it gives the pronunciation as HEK-ah-tee. How accurate is it?

I once read that it was pronounced "heh-kah-tay", and it always sounded pretty to me like that.

HEK-ah-tee is the English pronunciation. The Greek pronunciation for Hekate/Ekate (depending on the transliteration) is eh-KAH-tee. The alpha is stressed as you can see here:
