African Name, from the language Nbebele (South Africa)

I've spent years and i do mean years trying to find the meaning of

"Famona" (female) from the Nbebele language in the region of South Africa.

All Famonas that follow seem to take their name from Famona, daughter of King Lobengula of the Matebele Kingdom.

Any thoughts, ideas or even to search for this one welcome!
