Re: Nailah/Nala

Na'ilah is an Arabic name, the feminine of Na'il, meaning "one who acquires [what they want]", or "winner", according to the Oxford Dictionary of First Names, by Hanks, Hardcastle, and Hodges, and Digest of Muslim Names by Fatimah Suzanne Al Ja'fari.
Because of the apostrophe, I would assume that Na'ilah is pronounced something like "nah-ee-lah", but I'm not sure where the accent falls.

Pronunciation
Na'il can either be pronounced like "Nehl" (which sounds weird considering general Arabic pronunciations, but I know a Palestinian lady whose son is named Nail) or NAH-il.
Na'ilah is NAH-ih-lah, the "ih" being a glottal stop.
