It depends on in which language you want to say the name. In Swedish and Norwegian it sounds like:
TOOR-vuld, (oo like in book, but longer; u like in "up")
in Danish like:
TOR-val' (o like au in the British pronunciation of "taught", just more open; "'" is a plosive.),
in German like
TOR-vult (o see Danish pronunciation; u like in "up")

Does anybody know what this name translates out to mean in Norse/Swedish/Danish? In German, Tor=Gate, Vald, or "Wald"=Forest, so it would roughly mean "Forest Gate" in German.
Never mind, I found it on this site! It means, "Thor's Ruler".
