Hi. I saw that you all were discussing the name D'Artagnan. I had a few questions for research I am doing.
1. Does Artagnan, the town, still exist? If so would it appear on any maps?
2. Is there any evidence that Charles de Batz-Castlemore d'Artagnan actually existed? Perhaps death records, because, if I am not mistaken he died in a battle.
If you have some info on this, please let me know.
