A little name help please
My question is about the name Rowan. I like this name for a boy. I was curious if it could be traced back to ancient times at all? I have an interest in Ancient names. Preferribly Ancient Roman or Greece. However, I was just curious if the name Rowan or Roan derived from any ancient type name.
I read about in in the BtN database. I am aware that it means little red one. Also, that it can be referenced to the tree. I was just curious how long this name could date back to.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
