Imro
Sorry that I post so soon again, but I would really like to know the meaning of the name Imro.
Imro is a boysname in a book of Klara Jarunkova. The book takes place in Czechoslovakia in the seventees. In the original book the name of the boy was probably Imra (that is at least what I concluded after looking at a text about it written in Slovak), but for the Dutch translation they made it Imro.
Could Imro (or Imra) be a variant of Imrus / Imre? Or does it have another meaning?

I found the meaning myself : )
Imro is derived from Ime (Frisian name meaning great)or Imre.
