"Bethoven" is the spelling of Ludwig's surname in Spanish, so it's a logical/correct spelling to use in the Philippines

The correct spelling in Spanish is Beethoven

Bethoven, Betoven, Betoben... are misspellings.

I stand corrected. However, the majority of the Spanish-language sites I pulled up used the "Bethoven" spelling. I guess there are bad spellers in all languages...
