female, african-american. living in the caribbean. name chosen by my father who heard it while living/working in the USA, some 35 years ago. he has no idea of the meaning/origin, etc. if anyone has any information it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Gennilla,

that name sounds like a combination of Jenny and Nilla (short for longer names like e.g. Jennifer and Gunilla).
