Nausicaa
Nausicaa is a character from the Greek mythology. She was the Phaeacian princess who met the shipwrecked Odysseus while washing clothes on the shore.

I know this probably doesnt help or have anything to do with what your asking. But there is an anime called Nausicaa.
In the anime AlexandraTerese mentioned, Nausicaa is pronounced "naw-se-KAY-ah" though the Greek pronounciation is probably different.
Yes your right. It is pronounced like that.
Also a species in "Star Trek" called Nausicaans, hehe.

My Greek dictionary says: from "naus" (ship) and "kasa"* (to achieve merits)
