I am choosing a name for my 2nd child due in Nov. My father was Norwegian and I would like to use a Scandinavian name--I love both the names Siri and Malin (our last name is Irish beginning with an M). I met a little Siri when visiting Norway in my 20s and have always liked the name (considered it for my 1st child as well but went with an English name instead--I am US and husband is UK, so we feel the names work in our countries as well). We are curious as to what they mean and how popular they are, etc. Our daughter's name is VERY POPULAR where we live now so are hoping to choose a more unique name this time around
