hello, my name is amarron and i want to know what it means. i was named after my fathers best friend who was dominican. i am a black male - if that helps. i have heard before on this site that it means little green eyes but that spelling only had one 'r' - although it would be fitting as i do have green eyes - unusually for a black person.

There is a Spanish name/word that I can't find the meaning of. The Spanish amaron means "they loved" but I have no idea if they are related.
There is a Hebrew name as well - Amaron.
"Amaron," and "Ammaron." The first name is Hebrew for "people of the Ark," and the second is Aramaic for "people of the Ark." (The Aramaic has a dagesh, a little dot in the MEM, which doubles it in transliteration). Amm, Am = People (Aramaic, Hebrew) Aron = Ark (Aramaic, Hebrew).
