My Name
I've always been told that my name comes from a flower in India. I have been unable to find anything to confirm this or not and I was just wondering if it was possible that anyone out there might be able to help me.The story is that my great grandfather was in India while my great grandmother was pregnant. He picked a flower and pressed it and sent it back to her, she had a girl and named the baby girl after the flower my great granddad sent her. It has been in our family for three generations now.Can someone tell me if there is any truth to this story? Thanks for any help.Keitha Cowan

KEITHAThis is the only information that I found on the name Keitha.
Keitha is a girls name used in English and Scots Gaelic. The source of the name is a Gaelic expression meaning "Forest." It's very unusual, ranking 3214th in popularity for females in the United States.
