I am trying to figure out the spelling of a name that I have only heard. To me, the name sounds like "Ulven" or mayble "Ulmen." The person to whom the name belongs is originally from Honduras. I haven't had much luck looking on the web.

how do you pronounce the U? Like "up" or like "shue"?
"Ulven" is old fashioned Swedish meaning "the wolf"
"Ulmen" is German for "elms"
I've never heard one of those words being used as a first name (just Ulv/Ulf without the article suffix -en)
