"ee-VONN" is the original French pronunciation. But in addition to "Ya-vonn", there are families in the USA who use the spelling pronunciation "wy-VONN-ee", and because of that there are now woman with the name Wyvonnie, spelled that way. Spelling pronunciations are an old American tradition. Many people in England think that the American pronunciation of "Anthony" using the "th" sound is as ignorant and laughable as if one tried to pronounce "Thomas" using that sound. I've had English friends tell me that "Anthony" with the "th" sound is to them as bad as if one tried to pronounce the "b" in "debt".

I've never heard the name pronounced ya-vonn before, but it does have a certain ring to it!
And indeed, pronouncing the 'th' in Anthony does sound very strange to an English person, although I have heard it used (one of the Bg Brother 6 contestants at the moment is named Anthony, pronounced with the 'th' sound).

I've only heard the pronunciations ee-VON (the original French pronunciation) and ee-VON-uh (the Dutch pronunciation of an Yvonne in my primary school class).~Lully Lulla~

Other information?Well, the pronunciation ee-VON is French and is the original pronunciation. Ya-von is American and less common and originated with people who didn't know how to pronunce Yvonne properly.I've known enough Ya-vonnes that it's not a new habit, though.Array
