What on Earth does the Japanese name Michuru mean? I have only found it with a surname as well, which tends to change the meaning, for instance Hotaru Tomoe (Tomoe Hotaru in japan) is glowing of Earth, but Hotaru by itself is Firefly, and Usagi is Rabbit but Usagi Tsukino is Bunny of the Moon. So anyway, Michuru Kaiou, which is how i found it, means "Splashing Waves of Sea King" but what does Michuru mean WITHOUT the surname?

According to this site's researcher, "Michiru" means: "to be full, to rise (tide)".
