Hi,
I found this really great site about names. It has name meanings and all PLUS they have sort of like poster with your name on it. Kinda cool. Just copy the image and tada!! Oh yeah, it's a Christian site with verses that go with your name. But even if you aren't a Christian, you can just get that poster thingy:-).

Christians have disagreed wildly over the years about how to interpret the Holy Spirit as part of the Holy Trinity. During the early years of Christianity, rival Christian sects use to literally massacre each other to death while arguing whether the Holy spirit is "homoiousion" (of the similar substance) or "homousion" (of the same substance) as God. Of course it was all politics (a great book on that era is Gore Vidal's Julian). Even today, various Christian groups (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, etc) are completely at odds about what exactly the Holy Spirit stands for.

Went there, the names i put in came back with very diiferent meanings than any other name site, book, or reference has ever said about my name... so I am guessing that when lookinginto that site don't assume the meanings are correct.

I've tried a couple of contentious names on this site; some just aren't listed, and the one I could get an answer for - Darryl - they gave the wrong meaning entirely.
So unfortunate when that sort of thing happens - I always feel that a religious site, or indeed person, is in the same position as a woman driver - they have to do everything better than normal just to be seen as normal.
Anyway, if you're fond of little tracts it seems to be an adequate enough site. For names, I would go elsewhere.
