I was wondering... there are more than hundred countries in the world, and thus more than hundred languages. It must be possible that the male first name
Elias occured in other countries than only the countries of the Middle-East (like
Israel), but with a different meaning than the usual 'Jahweh is my God.' Is it possible? If so, I'd like to know the different meaning of
Elias in an other country, because I'm an non-religious person and I don't want to use a first name that has anything to do with religion (because I'm not too fond of religions; they lead to war).
Thank you very much in advance!
Regards,
Lucille
