Does anyone know anything about this name? I saw this woman in an informational video and her name was Nienke. I was just wondering where the name came from, and what it's meaning was. If anyone could help, that would be great!

Hi Schezar,

Nienke is a Frisian pet form of names ending on -nina, e.g. Janina, Antonina, Annina etc. or -nine, e.g. Johannine, Annine, Janine etc.

Ninke is a variant spelling, but both are pronounced the same: NEEN-keh.
