ok, i know i've already posted this once, but i'm hoping that now there might be somebody out there who knows:
Does anyone know the meaning of the name Minnaloushe? I know the name Minna is German and means "protection" (and is a female name), but I have not been able to find Minnaloushe on any website or in any book (yet, anyway). I believe it is a male name, judging by the Yeats poem in which I first encountered it. I really want to know if it's a real name or just a made-up one. Any help on this matter would be appreciated! or even if anyone knows some kind of meaning for "Loushe" as perhaps it's a combination of two names.
