Um, how is pronounced, like (gi-ahn), or (gee-ahn) bcz in that case it is likely just the name Guy + Anne.
If it is prounounced like (Gwayn) it is just a feminine form of Gwane, related to Dwayne or Wayne.

Pronounced Guy-Anne. It would seem it should be from those, but her sister's names are so ordinary, I wondered if there could be another explaination.
