My given first name is Layna, I am female, age 25. My mother comes from an irish and black-dutch lineage. My father is comanche, irish, and german. Neither parents remember how they picked it only that they liked it and it sounded like my mother's sisters names together(aLiciA and jAYNe) she may have made it up. The only other variation that I have seen is "laina".
