Mileva comes from the Slavic "mil" - kind, just like Mila, Milena, Milan, Miloslav, Miloslava... The way it is spellt, though, reminds me of a last name (something like "daughter of Milo/Mile") rather than of a given one. Does your wife happen to have her grandma's middle name for example? Just curious.
