I dont like surnames used as christian names except as a middle name and then only if there is a family connection ie mothers maiden name
And i admit i hate it when someone gives their daughter a boys name when there are so many great female names to choose from
I also find many made up names to be totally frightful but Some made up names are pretty some will even stand the test of time after all names like
Geraldine-Wendy -Vanessa -Christabel-all began as invented names
Guess im a little behind the times but then iv never wanted to be trendy iv always preferred the old names family names
