Does anyone know the meaning of the name Minnaloushe? I know the name Minna is German and means "protection" (and a female name), but I have not been able to find Minnaloushe on any website or in any book (yet, anyway). I believe it is a male name, judging by the Yeats poem in which I found it. I think it's a nice name, but I really wanted to know if it's a real name or just a made-up one. Any help on this matter would be appreciated!
