i agree that you can make your audience believe anything about a character by how you write them, but at the same time, people become their names, too. i see:Elias: a wise old man, or a geeky kid
Alexei: cheerleader type, popular and maybe snobby (or a smiley 2 year old)
Will: hero type, good, strong, handsome
