Hi,
I'm quite stumped on what to name my character. She is like, if you've ever played Breath of Fire I or II, Bleu, in that she is part human, part.. hm, serpent. I was thinking "Lilith," but it's been overdone IMO. I'd like a Greek-sounding name, though not necessarily Greek. It could be ficticious and have no meaning whatsoever (so long as it sounds appropriate.) Well, "this character" is a leader of an entire tribe of sorts (BTW, it's a female), and is very harsh. She is understanding at times, long in forgiving, and these people live in an environment close to forest and water. I was looking for name elements which had "water," and "unforgiving," in them, so that her name might mean something like, "The sea does not forgive," but then, her kind lives on both land and water.
I'm quite stumped on this. If anyone could offer pages containing other (and more) elements of Greek names, or anything else relevant, I'd be thankful (You're helping name a character which might be published one day! That doesn't excite you? Allright.)
