Nepomuceno is the Spanish form of the Latin Nepomucenus, from saint Ioannes Nepomucenus, which is a latinization of Czech Jan z Nepomuk, "John of Nepomuk", because the saint was born in the town of Nepomuk (Bohemia).
Nameday: May 16th.
