Can someone latinize the name Montgomery for me?
Hi all!
I've been wondering for ages what the Latin version of Montgomery would be --> maybe it's Montgomerius? I mean, all other English names have Latin versions, like: Charles --> Carolus, William --> Wilhelmus, and so on.
If anyone knows the Latin version of Montgomery or is familiar with Latin enough to latinize it, then please let me know.
Thank you in advance! :)
Regards,
Lu

Not too sure what you want it for. However...
As a name, Montgomericus would do (since it's from Mont + Gomeric). If you want to highlight the meaning, then Mons Gomericus. And if you want the whole thing translated, I suppose it could be Mons Virivis, though the ancient Romans will surely come back and haunt me for the suggestion.
