If anyone has information as to meaning of my first name ELTJO please let me know.It is a male name and as far as i can concur, has origins from the province of Groningen, Netherlands.

It is probably derived from either "adal" (noble/edel) or "ald" (old, experienced/oud, ervaren) both Germanic.
