what does this Scottish/Celtic name represents or means
I know that Kameron means bent or crooked nose. That it is Scottish/Celtic. But what does that represent or signifies?
I am an African American male, born to a christian mother and father?

In Scotland they spell it with a C, not a K. It started off as a name before our naming habits got systematised - it must have been a nickname for people with crooked noses! Same with all the people whose surnames are Long, or Shortt, or White, or Black, or Brown - I could go on. However, Cameron sounds a whole lot nicer than many names, so people would have given up thinking about the meaning (especially as most of them were by then speaking English and not Gaelic) and just named the baby after dear old Uncle Cameron, and so it came to lose its Crooked Nose meaning. Now its meaning is: pleasant-sounding name that will take our dear son through life without causing him any embarrassment.
