We can not find the meaning , history, orgin or anything about it. Anyone know anything about this name or have the same name please let me know. Its highly unusual I know. I am a female.

It sounds like tamarind, which if you do not know already, is a fruit native to Africa. It is used in a number of different ethnic cuisines. Maybe your name is a version of this word, or from some common root word. It could also be a play on Tamsin, or a combination of Tammy and Erin.

Also, if you google you name on the second page, you will see a little monkey called the Golden Lion Tamerin!

The tamarind is native to Africa *and* Asia . . .

The name is from two Arabic words literally meaning "Indian date". And the South American monkey is a tamarin, not a tamerin.

My family is Danish - my Dad told me that my name goes WAY back in history as a warrior woman. True or not, I'm okay with this!
I'm pretty old, so it's been around a fairly long time anyhow :)
