I think that adopting and having children is the same thing,so i would give my children the names i like.that's only what i think.anyways i like japanese names a lot.

I think the nameing should depend on the age of the child. If they already know themselves by their chinese name then keep it. But if you can't pronnounce their name maybe you should change it. Just a train of thought.

I would give them an American first name, and either their given birth name or a name pertaining to their culture as their middle name.

I'm Chinese but my family migrated to America ages ago. So when I was born, my parents gave me a chinese name that sounded a teeny weeny little bit American. Some people call me Lynn. So I suggest you give him/her an american middle name and make his/her chinese one his/her first name. or, if they like you can just give them an american name and don't call them by their Chinese name or just do the opposite.

ps: I suggest you don't adopt two chinese and japenese children. chinese and japenese aren't really at excellent terms with each other...

Depending on the age of the child, I would say either make their given name their middle name and give them an American first name. But, if they are an older child, then I would say keep their name as it is. It all depends.

I would keep their first name or possibly make it there middle name so that they know where their ethnicity lies.
