My name is Zinzia(last name not important) and I was wondering if you would be able to find out where my name originates from and if it has some sort of meaning, whether it be special or just plain boring. I am a female(22 if it matters) and my ethnic background is hispanic(both parents are mexican, but born and raised in the U.S.). Just a little info for you to see if it helps, my father was 20 and my mother was 18 when I was born. I was told once that my name was taken from Zinnia, just with the second "n" turned into a "z". Another explanation is that it was just made up. Any way of finding out if this is true?
