I think Majken is a Swedish/Finnish form of Michael. It could also be a form of Maaike (Dutch), in the last case, Maaike -> Maria -> Mary, (click the hyperlink for the meanings).

I think it's an old germanic name, a form of Maike or Maaike probably. (which are dutch) In the middle ages a lot of Dutch girl-names ended with en. (for instance Mariken, which is an old form of Marieke.)
It could also be a scandinavian name.
