MarieYou could have found that easily by doing a search on the main page.'Shearer' most likely means exactly what it says - one who shears.

It could be a variant of Che, which is pronounced CHAY and means "you." Or maybe it's a variant of Shay, the anglicized form of Seaghdh, which means "admirable" or "hawk-like." Ask your parents where they found it.
